"Came especially for the spa which was excellent, very modern, plenty to do and not too overcrowded. The new part of the hotel was very modern and complimented the older part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on a corner in the old part and was bug and comfortable and even has a partial lake view which was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was in a lovely big bright room. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Our stay at the Daffodil hotel was really good. The room had a really disappointing view but we did pay for the cheapest room. But the room itself was really comfortable and nice. The breakfast was brilliant and exceeded expectations. The service in the restaurant was very good as well, they also catered for gluten free which is unusual. It was a shame that the lobby bar was closed almost every time we walked past it despite it supposed to be open until midnight. The spa was lovely, great...

Bus 591, 555 stops just outside the hotel and can take you anywhere whether it’s Windermere, Grasmere, Keswick all very easy to commute. Some great restaurants around. Staff extremely friendly at the reception. Breakfast top notch - 10/10 for Manuel who takes orders at the brekkie area , always smiling. Would highly recommend. "

"The Inn was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, the view, the location, tand everything was great. The only thing was the "free drinks" vouchers we got, which we did not know mean that if we use them our rooms won't get cleaned the following day, so it would have been nice if the staff told us that before we used them, and we'd have simply paid for our pint. Also, no phones in the rooms."

"Clean and tidy and within easy walking distance to the restaurant and bar (Lakeside). The staff were warm and friendly, prompt and professional whilst serving. Highly recommended to visitors. I woul recommend however that the aged or disabled go for Accomodation at the lakeside hotel as there is a 100 yard climb to the lake houses from the restaurant."
