"We LOVED our stay at the Lake Hotel! What a wonderful and restful time spent there! The breakfast included was amazing and they had many gluten free options. The spa was amazing (be sure to pre book)! We loved the sauna (very hot) and the infinity pool had amazing jet features that were great after the long drive from Dublin! The only challenge was cooling the room down as we had so much sunshine and found the room hot in the evening! We had a balcony and were able to open the doors to cool...

"The accommodations were fine but the restaurant was lacking. The food was not very good overall and the prices/set meal structure was by far the most expensive we encountered on our 2 week trip. We ate at restaurants in London, Dublin, and Edinburgh and not only was the food much better it was actually more fairly priced. Last, the hotel seemed to be

vs couple focused which is fine if traveling with children. We weren’t but the info may be helpful for other travelers if seeking a couples...

and I had a lovely stay here at the the Cahernane House Hotel. Cara was amazing! We had a lovely view of the open area and watched loads of deer both in the evening and the morning. The breakfast was delicious. This was my daughters favorite place we stayed while vacationing throughout Ireland. Highly recommended!"
