There was no lunch service although it was advertised. Our room was quite small (perhaps with so few guests a larger room could have been offered?)
The investment in pitch&putt is interesting but the prices are offputting.
Dinner was good.

Peace and quiet in the Countryside
Posted 2 Sep 2018 on HotelsGood basic room, lovely gardens and ambiance. Food was good, but not exceptional - it was very expensive (as were the drinks). Staff very helpful. Rooms need fans as no air conditioning.

A pleasant overnight stay
Posted 23 Jul 2013A lovely setting in a lovely parkland. It was extremely hot weather for our stay and unfortunately we were on the second (top) floor and the room was unbearably hot. The staff were pleasant if a bit inexperienced, but they made up for that by being so accommodating.

Posted 11 Oct 2012An outstanding Hotel in very pleasant surroundings...............clean and comfortable. The staff were all very welcoming and spoke sufficient English for all necessary purposes.
The cuisine was of "five stars", with ample choice, the only reservation being that there was no change to the menuin the four nights that we stayed.
