Wasn't expecting much because it was a last minute booking but I was actually very happy and impressed when I arrived! Staffs we're very happy to accommodate us. The room was clean and we even had a lifeguard when we we're swimming in the pool.

Posted 4 Aug 2024 on HotelsMost of the reviews of this properly was nice but unfortunately, our experience isn't that great. The location was off the beaten path and secluded from anything else. Unless you brought food with you, no place to eat beside the restaurant. We tried the restaurant for breakfast (not the buffet) and it wasn't that good and food took a long time. The beach had a lot of seaweed and rocky, couldn't swim. The pool was small. There were no hot water in the shower and not sure what the smell was, but maybe the sewer but it has a certain bad smell. I paid $125+ for the rooms (booked 4 rooms) for relatives to get together for the day.
The plus - good AC in the room, bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice beach view. The staff were okay, though the waitress during breakfast seemed annoyed that she had to serve 15+ people.
I really wanted to like this place and research a lot based on the reviews. I cannot compare the hotel with other Bolinao property since this was my first time. But unfortunately, I will not recommend or stay at this property again.

The rooms weren’t entirely spectacular but they roomy and clean and air conditioning worked amazingly. What was absolutely spectacular was the back area overlooking the ocean. And the beach area itself. My family enjoyed snorkeling so close to hotel. I would love it if they picked up the trash around the beach area. But overall it was a great stay. Staff was very serviceable and friendly.

Thank you for taking time to review us. We have met with our housekeeping personnel in charge of the beach area fronting the resort to look into the trash complaint. It will be attended to immediately. We also conduct coastal clean up of the whole stretch of Patar Beach twice a month to pick up trash. This is attended by all staff. We shall intensify our campaign to make it on a weekly basis specially this coming rainy season where waves bring some trash from the sea coming from other countries (as shown by the plastic bottles of foreign origin). Again, thank you for your stay and for the rating you gave us.

We thank you for taking time to review us. The sandscape of Patar Beach fronting the resort changes every six months. Starting September, the thick sand (covering all the big stones in front of resort) shall start to divert on northern part of the beach (public beach) and would come back slowly starting February. It would have its thickest deposits by July and August. The wonder of nature. Thank you again for the very wonderful rating. We are so happy.

We thank you for rating us. From January to March, seaweeds that are abundant in Patar Beach feeding all kinds of fish and adding beauty to seabeds would start to be washed along the shorelines. But this would only be temporary and we always clean our beachfront and convert them into organic fertilizers for our plants and vegetables. Thank you again for making your memories with us.
