Our room was 90 degrees! They had the ac off till we got there. It was absolutely hot and dirty and unbareable

The first room they put us in felt like it was 100 degrees, and the A/C wasn't keeping up. The microwave was also broken. They offered us a couple different rooms, each of them had problems like a broken microwave or refrigerator. We checked out and went to the Best Western around the corner.

The website I booked through did not have our reservation but thankfully the hotel had a room. They had an even lower price than the dot com I booked through (I am not allowed to say their name or they won’t post this) and the clerk was very sweet. When we parked by our room there was a huge pile of throw up. Next, there were people smoking all around the hotel even though we asked for a non smoking hotel. The floors were dirty and since there was no rugs or carpet your feet ended up very dirty and dusty. We put our towels by our beds to step on.

The property is right by the IH 10 in a convenient location with HEB and restaurants within walking distance.
However, the doors had paint chipped off and place smelled damp, looked a bit dirty for a quick lookover. The breakfast was limited to small muffins, coffee or fruit juice. It was a big let down.
