"Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "

"Check in was contactless and it directed the guest to a hotel on the other side of downtown for more information. There wasn't anyone at the hotel to answer questions and I had to call a number to get buzzed into the building. I had to put together the bed for my son and guests are required to take their trash out and wash their dishes"

"This is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of old Konstanz. Spacious rooms, lovely rooftop dining with stunning lake views. Walkable to everywhere …. Would stay here again and again. "The room was pretty dated and the floors weren’t very clean (had some sort of grit on them). The rooms I saw online were not what we got. The Seehotel restaurant was good and lots of walkable lakefront, park and restaurants nearby. "

"We had a great time. The apartment was just what we needed with 2 bedrooms. The staff was super friendly. The food at the resturant was excellent. I wish i got the server and chefs name, best meal in germany so far. We were able to walk down to a park a few blocks away to view the lake. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area. "

"A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. Our family also very much liked the breakfast buffet. It was super easy to grab a bus at a nearby bus stop to head down into town and enjoy the promenade. If there would be two things I'd love to see improve, it would be dedicated smoking / non-smoking sections for the restaurant's terrace. Like us, I noticed several other guests being disturbed by other guests smoking and taking away from what is otherwise a great outside breakfast and dining experience. The second thing, which I recognize will not be easy and certainly isn't a fault of the hotel / staff, would be to find a way to keep wasps at bay. There were plenty of wasps disturbing guests--including our kids--and it also took away from the experience while eating on the terrace. This was our first stay here and surely not our last--we look forward to coming back to this property!"
