We really enjoyed our time at Bocas Del Mar! The room was beautiful, immaculate with a fantastic view. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and we appreciated the local tuna and snook. The hotel is in an amazing location and offers good activities. We were lucky enough to see whales, dolphins, crocodiles on one of the tours.

Ocean front property (no beach), nice cabins (mine included king size bed, sofa bed and modern kitchen. Was recently renovated). Has a nice pool. Most activities include a boat ride to one of the beautiful islands nearby. Also you can take a one hour drive to los Cangilones or a bit longer and visit Boquete.

This site has a wonderful setting with beautiful views. The staff are very friendly and helpful from housekeeping to the front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, all are very good. We had some minor issues with hot water in our suite and our Wi-Fi failed one day but they did everything in their power to correct the issues as soon as possible. We are very happy to have stayed here and would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed in Villa #4 at Bocas del Mar Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful. Newly updated and a great view of the bay and the gardens. The restaurant staff are top notch. I can't say enough about the service. The front desk staff, again, just amazing. Customer Service at this resort goes above and beyond. The breakfast was fantastic and the dinners - both the food and the views - were spectacular. Tours were available and pick up is right at the resort's dock.

The villa we stayed at was impeccable, with lot of amenities (fridge, range, appliances, laundry) and with a great view of the bay. The onsite restaurante serves great food and every night the chef sent a complimentary appetitezer. The staff was very kind and attentive. The property grounds are beautiful, with so many spots to sit and relax. The only thing that is missing is a good beach spot, but I understand this is inherent to the geography of the location. We took day trips to the gulf islands: Gamez, Paridas, Bolanos, but we did not use the hotel tour but a service from Boca Chica that was less expensive.

Lovely landscaped grounds and very helpful and friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Food was lovely! Amazing views from our villa#23! —the villa itself was not decorated well; a black leather couch and heavy red curtains; it had no ‘Panamian feel’ … this missed the mark. -both swimming pools are missing tiles…it didn’t detract from our pleasure! But it gives an ‘old’ and uncared-for impression. However, the property is being renovated so I assume this will be attended too.

Though not our first visit to Bocas del Mar, this trip was special. The staff is amongst the best in Panama. The food was fantastic and not just on occasion; every single meal was wonderful. The property is beautifully maintained and additional improvements appeared to be underway. Our room, at the top of the property, was spectacular. We went with the crew for half a day of whale watching and island-hopping the Gulf of Chiriqui. The humpbacks were abundant and the dolphins an added bonus. The staff is ecologically minded and committed to preserving the marine and mangrove environment. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to both ownership and staff for taking such good care of us.

Bocas del Mar hotel is located in a lovely area with beautiful views. The restaurant is very good and everyone that works at the hotel is nice and do their best to make your stay pleasant. When we left we noticed I could not find my oura ring. The hotel employees found the ring and even took it to Boquete, a town that is 2 hours away, to return the ring. This was beyond what I expected. Maintenance-wise, the swimming pools require more maintenance as well as the pillows and linens in the rooms. All in all we would like to return to Bocas del Mar hotel. We had a relaxing vacation full of adventure but in a confortable place with good food and service.

I really liked the tranquility of this property the first time I stayed here, The staff are very friendly, and kind also. This time, I had even more problems with hot water in the shower. Then we ordered a lobster salad special not on menu, that was not much of anything. When I saw the $29 dollar price, I was really stunned. We also went on what was promoted as a sunset cruise on a small outboard motor boat for $90 dollars per couple that was a short bird watching with beer, wine, soda included. This was very disappointing also. Now I am rethinking ever going back.
