The location of this hotel was nice, beautiful scenery. It was a clean room. It was nice that I could pay extra to be picked up from my bus, especially when it was kind of late 10pm. But I actually felt unwelcome kind of odd like I wasn’t supposed to be there. When we arrived I was just placed into my room quickly and wasn’t given any information, nothing about the wifi or breakfast. I guess there isn’t breakfast? When I walked around the property searching 8:30-9:30 there was no one around. I saw reviews before booking about meals and very good food, maybe I came at a bad time. There’s no restaurants around and I hadn’t eaten since 3pm the day before with the long bus ride so that was a big let down for me. I had booked with this in mind. Just felt strange. Was feeling glad I only spent one night, it was comfortable enough for sleeping. No one was around for check out either so I just left my key on the counter.

Dear Jessee, We're so sorry for your uncomfortable. You came so late in town by bus and we showed you the restaurant to eat before coming our place. Hung met you at the bus stop and pick you up at around 10.30pm, There is wifi, hot water information in your room, you should have a look on it. In the morning, Our breakfast time is from 6.30am-9am. Lots of guests were eating at that time to start the cave tour. Maybe you woke up so late after 9.30am and didn't see anyone.We give you an advise when travelling: You should ask the staff/ people if you don't know anything or want to know something.Thank you and best regards.

Lovely Stay
Posted 29 Dec 2019 on HotelsWe had a lovely stay with Quy and his family who work tirelessly in looking after their homestay. It was about a 10 minute bike ride outside the centre. Great for exploring the caves. Paradise cave being our favourite one, amazing! We also did the Botanical gardens which was more like a jungle trek for 2.5 hours! Overall we had a great time and cannot recommend this place highly enough, with Quy providing the local knowledge you cannot go wrong. Thank you!

Great accommodation
Posted 26 Jun 2019 on HotelsThat property is really good, near by the river, with lovely swimming pool, the owner is so helpful, he arranged for us everything. The food is tasty, room was clean and really nice design. Was really lovely.

Very nice view with river and the mountain on the other side of the river. Very clean room and great service staff. Quiet place to relax. It's worth the price to stay at Restful River Bungalow. Everyone who travel to Phong Nha and Paradise caves or for other surrounding places should try Restful River Bungalow.

aventure dans la jungle
Posted 22 Aug 2019 on HotelsHotel exceptionnel : accueil très chaleureux, petit-déjeuner et nourriture fantastique (tester les pancakes et le poulet au barbecue !), situé au bord de la rivière et à 2 pas des trecks dans la jungle, très belle piscine et vélo gratuit à disposition. Rien à redire, on a adoré !
