Very unique property. Food at restaurant very creative, delicious. Great concert venue. My one critique would be we had a room facing the street and could easily hear traffic go by. Difficult to get good sleep if you are a light sleeper.

I enjoyed the quiet setting and the courteous staff. I was happy that they opened breakfast a bit earlier than 8:00. This enabled me to get on the road with time to spare.

Nice stay overall at the Barncastle. Cool historic place. Room was good, except mattress in room 5 sagged terribly in the middle and is in dire need of replacement.
Especially liked Leroy the hotel Bernese dog!

A Lovely Stay
Posted 15 Jul 2023 on HotelsThe house is absolutely beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. The walls are paper thin (we could hear every cough from the gentleman next door) is our only complaint. Leroy the house dog is well behaved and a perfect greeter and host. Breakfast is average. Overall it’s a lovely stay.
