The view was incredible, right on the beach.
There's a beach access right next to the villa and at times, late during the night, it didn't feel safe as people were peaking in.
Probably needs a reno, especially the bathroom area. The kitchen was nice, a microwave oven would have been a nice addition and a dishwasher. Overall a nice stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I feel I owe you an explanation regarding the people using the beach access. The owner of the bottom townhouse behind Al Mare had rented out his place for the about a week ... supposedly to a family of 2 adults and 3 children (maximum of 6 permitted in house). To our amazement we noted 6 cars in their tiny carpark and it appears that they had upward of 25 to 30 people staying there ! This is totally against the Covid regulations regarding the number of occupants. By doing this they have also abused the owner's trust and our goodwill. We contacted the owner and advised him of the situation and he was most distressed and so rang the local police to report the breach. (We don't know if the Police actually attended.) I had also spoken to several of these people asking them to respect our guests privacy by passing through quickly and quietly. We are very unhappy and upset about this incident and will be consulting with our neighbour regarding the use of the beach access if rented out again. We believe a possible solution is to have the access available during daylight hours. The gate would be locked at night for security with only us and the townhouse owners (not guests) having keys. Once again our apolgies for the irresponsible behaviour of these people .. it saddens us that this occurred. We hope you may consider visiting Al Mare another time and perhaps we can have better weather for you ! (P.S. Both our suites have microwave ovens in the kitchenette) Kindest regards ... Judy
