Clearly lost our reservation and we were put in a completely different room that i had reserved. Room was tired, rubbish visible outside window, tv didnt work.

The reservation was not lost, you were moved from a standard classic double room which you reserved and given a complimentary superior room which is larger. We are sorry to hear the TV did not work and that you were generally unhappy with the room and view. Our room was moldy and the bathroom tiles were squishy. This is my first ever review and it was that bad that it made me right this review. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff and the neighborhood

We felt the room could benefit from some updating and a new mattress. However we would certainly return when back in London.

I paid extra for a larger room and they put me in a basement with limited natural light, but were kind enough to move me. A really nice room. TV really rubbish. A/C good. Quiet. Really limited dining or breakfast options. Location good for Piccadilly line, British Museum and walking to Covent Garden. I would stay again just because the rooms are a good size

Great location. Spacious rooms. Close to several tube stations, restaurants, universities and the British Museum.

Very quiet property near Russell Square and British Museum. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was polite and helpful.
