The bed was very comfortable & I have a bad back so that was really important for me. It’s walkable from Kings Cross. We were told we’d have a quiet room but our neighbours were noisy.

The property looks good but the room i was in needed a deep carpet clean. No complimentary water bottles, no central heating/air conditioning, the walkway of other rooms looked really spiritually dispeleasing images of artwork not great but also the rooms are nice and spacious. I must say most staff of ethnic backgrounds (asian) not so welcoming to black people ( i would say kind of racist) dont acknowledge or even dont want to answer any questions you have please train them how to provide excellent customer service to all visitors. The young lady who checked me in and the older asian gentleman who worked after in the evening were wonderful. Please i know its a business but remember people always remember how you make them feel the experience is what brings repeat customers.

We encourage guests to use the tap water available in the rooms, which is drinkable, as part of our commitment to reducing single-use plastics and minimizing our environmental impact. Similarly, while our rooms do not feature air conditioning, we provide radiators in each room to ensure guest comfort, and we do not advertise AC as part of our amenities.We were also concerned to read your comments regarding our staff. Our team prides itself on offering a welcoming environment for all guests, and we are very proud of our diverse staff, who work hard to ensure excellent service for visitors from all backgrounds. Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated in our hotel, and your remarks have been taken seriously. That said, suggesting that members of our team are racist is a significant claim, and in our view, it is not reflective of their conduct or the diverse and welcoming environment we strive to maintain.We appreciate your kind words about the check-in experience and certain members of our team, and we will share your comments with them. Location is convenient, the room was in acceptable condition and bathroom was clean.
But the staff was unfriendly and quite off-putting in addition the room was cold with excessive draft from a bad window.
The worst was the street noise which the window did not help with, it sounding like we were sleeping on the sidewalk.
