Room in need of modernisation. Open area shower and toilets semi open could cause embarrassment or the source of some humour. Bed comfortable but room dark. Family bed area up steep stairs I would not like my young grandchildren to stay up there.

Great Lodge and very Impressed

Stayed over for 1 night on a drive from Joburg to Cape Town. I was very impressed with the Lodge. It was a winters night that went to -5C, but room was warm and comfortable. Impressive heated shower with high pressure water, and a fully inclusive breakfast. Incredible value for the price.

What a little gem in Bloemfontein. This is one of the best Guesthouses I've ever seen and stayed in at Bloemfontein. From the beautiful garden to the reception to the room. Everything is perfect. Friendly staff to help you and a room with everything inside. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, air conditioning and Dstv. The Wi-Fi reception in the room is excellent. Well done to Management for doing things properly. Breakfast in the morning is outstanding. Monte Bello Estate, you will see me again. Well done to Management and staff for keeping a high standard.

Good Bloemfontein stop over

Great location and setting. Clean room, tastefully decorated. Unfortunately side lamps had no plugs 🤔 And the stairs to the kids' loft room are perilous 😳 Otherwise good breakfast and comfortable stay!
