Overall pretty good stay here! A bit of an older building that seems to have gotten a few facelifts. The room was clean and comfortable, but had a bit of an odd smell to it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great spread for breakfast - glad I added it on. Hot tub was awesome and you could probably see the Northern Lights while in it. Unfortunately it was quite wet and cloudy during our stay.

Was very disappointed to get to the hotel and find out they had been trying the credit card that I held the property with. It was supposed to be a pay upon arrival and they charged my credit card two days early. My understanding of pay upon arrival is that you pay upon arrival. Other than that, a very nice hotel other than the fact the breakfast is much too expensive for what you receive. I’ve stayed in many many hotels in Iceland and this is one I will most likely, not return to because of the reason stated above. Not cool.

This was duch a cute plsce to stay! I loved the room, the restaurant, the staff, the area, and being able to see the Northern Lights from the hot tub.

Unexpected gem. The hotel room was pretty small and unremarkable, but it was clean and comfortable. I got the best night's sleep of my trip so far. The surprise was the church museum on the grounds and the extensive history of this location going back 1000 years. Fascinating.

The rooms were very clean with lots of natural light. The restaurant was nice and breakfast was available for purchase.

Nice hotel and staff for a quiet and relaxing stay. Plenty of parking and spacious room.
