Read Before Booking
Posted 16 Aug 2023 on HotelsIf you are on a tight budget and plan to spend as little time as possible in the room (including sleeping) then this hotel is an ok choice. There is dim to no lighting in the hallways to the rooms, a basic doorknob with a key (no deadbolt or door chain lock), not great a/c, and the mattresses are thin and almost fold when you sit/lay on them. The views from the upper floors are great and the staff was very friendly and arranged for a cab to get to the train station. In-room wifi is not free (you have to go to the hotel bar to get complimentary wifi). This was not advertised on this site- though I recognize editing hotels.com profiles can be difficult. The vibe of this place seems to be toward a younger crowd (mostly teens) so keep that in mind.

It’s not the worst but it’s also not the best. For a cheap place to stay but also have something to offer for kids it works!

I am not recommended at all , there is not information about they want deposit 5 dollars for tv control, dry hair, safety box key , etc
Not lights at all on the way to your room that I considered no safety if we need to evacuate .. No illuminate at all during the day or night; the ways to go to elevator . It is all dark no safe .

Clean but noisy
Posted 24 Sep 2018The hotel room was clean but the noise level at noise made it hard to sleep. You can hear people talking in the rooms either side. The breakfast wasn't good plus the hotel doesn't sell alcohol!
However the staff were friendly. Wouldn't stay here again.

Not as expected

Very very tired rooms. Basic and chipped furniture. Dripping holes in both bathroom ceilings (although they got fixed). Mould in places and musty smell in room.
Food was ok, plenty of variety.
Pool was lovely, entertainment for kids at pool very good too.

Posted 30 Jun 2018 on HotelsVERY BAD SERVICE AT THE HOTEL, FIRST, WE WERE WRONGLY ACCUSED BY THE HOST OF GOING TO DINNER WHEN WE ONLY HAD PAID FOR BREAKFAST IN FRONT OF OTHER CLIENTS, TO OBTAIN TOWELS IT A BIG ISSUE, THE BREAKFAST BARELY HAS CHOICES, BESIDES ALL BEVERAGE ARE ARTIFICIAL EVEN THE MILK IS AND IT HAS AN HORRIBLE TASTE, TO GET A REMOTE OR A SECOND KEY THEY ASK FOR A DEPOSIT, THEY OPEN THE DOOR OF OUR ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING PRIOR, THEY DIDNT GIVE US THE DO NOT DISTURB SIGN LIKE OTHER HOTEL DO BY LEAVING IT IT IN YOUR ROOM, WE HAD TO GO GET IT AND ASK OURSELVES!
THEY CALL ON YOUR PHONE TO BOTHER YOU FOR NO REASON WE HAD TO CLOSE OUR PHONE TO STAY AT PEACE!
ITS A VERY BADLY MANAGED HOTEL WE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, THE OWNER MUST TAKE THE TIME TO VISIT OTHER HOTELS , ESPCIALLY IN CALLELA WHERE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND REORGANIZE HIS OWN!

Yikes
Posted 27 Jun 2018We HAD to stay here for a basketball Tournamnet. If you don’t have to stay here, don’t. It’s the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in- the doors slam no matter how you shut them and people were up all night long. (It sounded like a gun shot every time one closed, especially at 3am.). The place itself is completely run down. One of our player’s sink literally fell out of the counter. The food if you do full board is not edible... even the coffee was bad. As far as location, there are plenty of other hotels in the same area, so book one of them. One good note, the kids said the pool was nice. However, again- this hotel is a no for me.

Clean with hotel within walking distance to beach
Posted 29 Sep 2016 on HotelsHotel was clean with great garden and pool area. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. The hotel did not serve any alcohol in the restaurant nor bar area. No entertainment was provided except for a tv in the bar area. There was no information in English only French, German, Polish Dutch and Russian. Very little in Spanish either which would have been useful.

Posted 17 Sep 2012The hotel is in need of some maintenance and repair but overall, it was ok. The standard of food was not bad but it was very busy in the restaurant. The location is 5 mins walk from the beach, but it was situated amongst some poorly maintained buildings.
