A perfect base for a few days. The cottage is right next to a road so can experience traffic noise at times. Nothing that a good set of earplugs didn’t solve. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Great spot to stop. Neat and tidy rooms and good vegetarian /vegan breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Lovely room and comfy bed Restaurant food was excellent huge portions Friendly staff especially the chap on bar/reception, very good sense of humour! Also my husband saw his first red squirrel, lovely riverside walk.
