"Rusacks is a luxury hotel on the 18th green of the Old Course facing the West Sands beach. We were pleasantly surprised at checkin with a grade to a 2 queen room with a sitting area with the best view of both the golf course and the water in the older part of the resort. The staff was exceptionally helpful in making reservations for meals, tee times, and airport transfers. In addition, the free amenities included snacks, bottled water (still and sparkling) coffee, tea, and juice. The friendly staff also gave us free ball markers. It was a perfect stay."

"This palace is up on a hill and driving up to it took my breath away. Pitlockry is a quaint little town and Atholl is the "Queen" of the quaintness. The building and grounds are exceptional. Be sure to walk all of the grounds and take in the unique gardens and tree lined trails into town and the backside along the creek. A memorable place to stay! "

"Our stay felt like Downton Abbey transported into the Highlands -- with less drama. The estate is beautiful. The walks through the woods and hills are gorgeous. The dining was fabulous. The lunch kitchen was open late in the afternoon to sate our ravenous appetite after our excursions. The staff were kind, careful, and friendly."

"Fantastic break. We had 2 "cottages" which were part of a block. They were clean and spacious and set up for 6 people. Parking is convenient, and it is a short walk to the town. Food is good, but the menu is not extensive. Just don't go if you have anatidaephobia (look it up:-)"
