Very big and roomy for big family stay
Posted 29 Dec 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Very roomy.
Cons: Furnitures are outdated. The TV in the dining room is not working. While doing cooking the cover of the fan on the ceiling of the kitchen felt off .
Location: Convienient location. Next to the local park and very close to Govetts Leap. Breath taking view.
Overall It was ok. There is nothing really much to complain about. For $250/night can accommodate up to 13 people that is really good deal.

great venue for large groups/family reunions, etc.

Pros: Location and space
Cons: Linen
Location: Blackheath has antique shops/galleries/pubs/restaurants/takeaways/train station/scenic lookouts/hiking tracks and it is only 10 minutes from Katoomba
Lovely old art deco house with lots of room for extended family, needs a little bit of maintenence but we didn't mind that. Blackheath is a great base for exploring the Blue Mountains. NOTE...you need to bring your own linen or hire it from manager...WE DID NOT KNOW THIS AS IT WASN'T STATED ON WOTIF (but when I checked other booking engines it WAS stated...THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH, WOTIF). Apart from that glitch (fault of Wotif) we loved it.

Big house for your own privacy
Posted 25 Aug 2017Suitable for a large group, which can accomodate up to 13 persons.
Need time to heat up the house in winter. It's really cold in the Blue Mountain region ~~ A good base to visit Blue Mountain !
