Dear Mr Naidoo, We thank you for taking the time to leave your post-stay review. Unfortunately, we do agree that certain issues had cropped up during your stay, but it would be unfair to say that the management has not dealt with those issues given the particular circumstances at the time. As we take online reviews left by our guests seriously and as the comments left online may influence the actions of other potential guests that are looking to book at Manta Cove, we have therefore come up with a factual list of occurences that have happened during your stay and what was done or could not be done by the management at the time. 1. Running water in the guest toilet The repair for this issue did take some time because the toilet water tank is embedded in the wall which increase the difficulty of intervention for our plumber. 2. Kettle not functioning It may have stopped working during your stay but needful has been done for it to be replaced. 3. Leakage from the coffee machine Unfortunately, this issue was detected upon your arrival and needful could not be done as your were in self-isolation at the time. 4. The swimming pool was not cleaned up According to the policy of our supplier, no intervention could have been made until check out because you were tested positive and this put the staffs at risk. Your disappointment is understandable as we did not reach your expectations. But we hope you understand that under the given circumstances, we still did our best in order for you to have a satisfying stay at Manta Cove and we are sorry that you had to experience these issues.
