"I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful B&B! The building is stunning, set in a wonderfully peaceful location with original features enhanced by both old and new furniture. The decor is charming and tasteful. Aurélie provides a simple yet very tasty breakfast every morning and nothing is too much trouble! All jams are homemade which can be bought no site. She is very friendly and allows you to treat her home like your own. We ate an evening meal there one night and it was cooked using...

"Great location for exploring Sarlat"

"Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"

"Chateau was beautifully decorated. Small elevator to bring our bags to first floor. Owner helped carry bags from entrance stairs to elevator. Robert and his wife were gracious and helpful."

"This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "
