Very nice hotel for Guinea-Bissau. Had a bit of confusion checking in when the desk clerk requested payment even though we paid through Expedia. Very nice extras in the room (family suite): plenty of towels, slippers, bathrobe, comfortable beds, refrigerator, shared common area with closable door for privacy, plus adjustable AC.

A gem in Bissau
Posted 7 Aug 2022 on HotelsDo not read any negative comments. This place is luxurious by any standard, especially Bissau. The location is just perfect and central to everything you may want to do and see there. Staff are great. Book online for a better price. The only thing, which could be improved is breakfast, but ask for an omelette and cheeses/ bread/ coffee/ juices are great. Enjoy!

Be careful guys
Posted 22 Mar 2020 on HotelsHotel is comfortable. Best in the area. But I had one big issue. Hotel.com charged me for 1 day stay. I showed hotel the charge on my credit card by hotel.com. They told me charge is pending, they have talked to hotel.com , money will not be charged to my account. So they charged me the money for that night. Next day hotel.com also charged me the money. According to hotel hotel.com does not have any arrangement to get paid.
So now I have been charged by hotel.com and hotel both.
Now I have to start a refund from hotel.com
I am not sure where is the miscommunication. I cannot start the process until return to USA in 3 weeks.
I would advise customers not to
Choose option to pay to hotel.com in
Underdeveloped country is west Africa, which could be risky and waste of valuable time.
