Staying here was a treat! I felt very posh! The Grand is a beautiful hotel, the room was spacious, clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again!

Great and warm welcome on arrival. No mention of either VIP benefit or room upgrade. I was too tired from travel to challenge/question this. The room was large enough with good amenities and clean. The location of the room did mean it was noisy (room 207), as it was adjacent to the service yard for the hotel.
Pleasant staff and a cozy bar with good live music in the evening. Hotel is well placed within walking distance to both parking and the sights of York.

This is a beautiful property, located conveniently close to the station and a short walk to York's historic city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. We would happily stay in The Grand, York on any future visit.
