The reception staff were great as were the cleaning team. The bar and waiting staff were a little abrupt and got three of our orders wrong. Not being able to find tables at the bars to sit prior to going out was disappointing, given we we’re guests at the hotel

The staff were brilliant, exactly the right balance of professionallism, informality and friendliness. Also, they appeared to be happy in their work and genuinely pleased to help every guest.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The experience was convenient. The staff were incredibly accommodating. They kept our luggage after check out so we could explore more of the area, which was very helpful.

This is a beautiful property. Fabulous ballroom. Sadly usual problem of mirror not having a chair or surface nearby to enable hair and makeup. I wish hotels would take this into account. We do not like to do hair and makeup standing in a steamy bathroom! Thanks.

A fabulous hotel, which we have stayed at before. Beautiful room and communal areas, which smell gorgeous. Breakfast was freshly made to order and service was really efficient and attentive. Our only negative reflection on this visit was the service in Madeleine’s. We had booked a table and enjoyed an hour and a half of drinks, until we were told that our table had another reservation on it and we needed to leave straight away as the next guests had arrived early, despite the fact that I had just ordered a cocktail and my partner was half way through his drink. I completely understand that tables have time limits on them, but nobody advised us of this when we were seated, or at any point. We weren’t offered seats at the bar to finish our drinks, so I cancelled my cocktail order, which we were then charged for. We will return to the hotel as it is a gorgeous spot, but will find somewhere else for cocktails next time, as we were left feeling very unwelcome.
