motel 6 will never see again! 50 dollar damage deposit for a 79 dollar room seems to me a way to make it a 129 dollar room!

Our room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet stay and the grounds were kept up well. Staff were very helpful and professional. I accidentally booked a smoking room, and went in to tell them I booked the wrong room they had no problem getting me a non-smoking room. Even my daughter liked it and she is ptretty picky.

I’ll start by saying the staff were super friendly and nice. The first room wouldn’t open so they had to move us. When they did the room was dripping yellow stains on the wall, the toilet seat was peeling and falling apart, the shower was tiny and the curtain filthy. The furniture was also disgusting except the bed. The original room that wasn’t opening was above us and they decided that 11pm at night was the best time to do construction level work to fix it. We had been driving all day and just wanted to sleep so we finally fell asleep for a few hours and proceeded to wake up first thing to drive somewhere else to shower and relax. Absolutely atrocious.

Posted 4 Sep 2024 on HotelsCheck in about 11:00 p.m. after being on the road since 4:30 in the morning. So when I got in the room the air conditioner wasn't on in the room and it had a dry smell. So we decided to take a bath or a shower and it smelled like a sewer really bad nevertheless we took a shower. Upon using the restroom the door was broke and after using the restroom the toilet stopped up all night until 8:00 in the morning when the manager came in and he just looked at it. He did give me another room to use the restroom but that was horrible situation with the toliet stopping up. This hotel was embarrassing
