The welcome at this Hilton was not as expected to be honest. We were early to arrive, however when I enquired if I could check I was the room wasn’t ready but if I wanted to pay £20 an hour I could check in!! There was no welcome to Hilton etc The bathroom was tired and teeny tiny. The beds oh my days how lovely they looked after a long day but the mattress so hard and I like a firm mattress. Staff at breakfast could do with a customer service course snappy and clearly not happy in their job. The hotel was busy but no condiments on tables no salt or pepper etc not what is expected for £200 plus a night. But that said had a good time in Birmingham great location for Utilita Arena and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Taxi service from out front was also super easy.
