The product used to clean/air freshener was overpowering to the point that we had to ask for an Ozone Cleanser to be left in the room whilst we were out. Although apologetic, we felt the response was somewhat rehearsed and lacked any genuine remorse. The breakfast milk at one of the coffee stations was curdled. Having booked a double room for dual occupancy, we only received one bath and one hand towel. We were told to look in the wardrobe, which we had already done before contacting reception. Housekeeping brought additional towels. Overall, disappointing and not what we’d expect from Mal Maison.

Very expensive for what you get. Cooked Breakfast could have been a lot better. Bed request was not missed. Had to ask again. Usually much better , would still recommend.

The property was easy to find, has a multi story car park next door (it is expensive though and limited spaces for the hotel itself). It was very clean, staff were courteous and helpful, room was spacious as was the bathroom, and the bed was extremely comfy, my only gripe was that it was but very warm and quite dark. The breakfast was tasty, but could have been a little warmer. Overall good, I’d stay again.

This is a lovely hotel, close enough to the centre that you can walk but far enough that it is quieter. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size and comfortable.

A pleasant room which was large and clean, Nespresso coffee and various teas available in the room, bottled water rather than use the tap. Friendly bar and restaurant staff, £19 for a Continental Breakfast was a bit steep for cereal and a pain au chocolat, and a coffee.

A wonderful hotel with a warm welcome, super comfortable rooms and a breakfast thay will set you up for a great day. Highly recommended.
