"The photos made the space look great. In person, it was less impressive but overall a good experience. We still liked the layout of the room. But the bed is a little too soft, and the bedding well used. The name is not on the outside of the building, so it was a little confusing. They did send a photo of the door with the room access info that hadn't downloaded on my phone. Technically on the fifth floor, but there is an Entresol floor before the first floor - 120 stairs up. "This was our first time staying in a hostel and the experience was very pleasant. The couple that runs the place take great care of your needs. They serve a nice breakfast for an additional $9 euros and they also offer dinner with a full menu at their restaurant. We would come back here."

"Excellent place to stay. We had a 'self-catering' apartment at La Maison aux Bonsais. The sign on the door says 'Guest House'. The owner Luc (and his son Michael) were very welcoming. When we arrived the fridge and pantry were well provided, basically giving us breakfast for our five day stay (with a short walk to the nearby boulangerie). "Our stay was great. The property offers many amenities that one can not use them all. But the basic we enjoyed were very good. The location provides outstanding views from all directions. With the eclectic decoration, affable attitude, great service and location this property is idoneous. Even with a hazy, not too sunny weather, it has been the highlight of our 3 weeks road trip. "

"We visit St Paul De Vence yearly and it was a joy to come across this gem. Minimally decorated, and sensitively landscaped with perhaps one of the most well-made pools ever, our stay was enjoyable. The owners put their all into making this venue memorable. We are already making plans to return, which says it all."

"This property was fantastic. It was clean and had eve dry thing we needed for the 4 days we were staying there. It is a 30 minute walk from old nice, however it was very close to the beach and the walk is beautiful. "
