"We stayed here as it was a walkable location to the o2, so perfect if you have an event to go to there. 5 girls so it was a great property where we could all get ready together. Some of the decor (floor trims are questionable) and the bedrooms are very bright. Downstairs back door didn’t open. It was otherwise a good stay "

"The flat itself was great but finding it and getting in the property was a nightmare and were not very helpful at first explaining where it was until I sent deposit and had to do this in the street with two cases phone wallet and bank card open "

"Beautiful apartment with 2 bed 2 bath and full kitchen. Easy access from the tube about 10 minutes walking. Host met me at arrival. Nice and clean, only thing is the drains in the bathroom sinks drain a bit slow and the shower water pressure is a bit low. Overall great stay and would repeat."

"We did not end up staying at our original booked property, as the day before our arrival the host informed us of an upgrade to another property. The new property was beyond our expectations. Closer to LCY (8 minutes drive), grocery, shops, restaurant and public transport (within 5 minute walk). The host arrived early, was friendly and will informed about the area and getting around and places to visit, he also answered all our questions. The new property and everything as the original plus added...

"I was extremely surprised. This was a hidden gem! I was surprised it was equipped with all amenities; kettle, toaster, microwave, dining seating as well as a 2-ring stove. A really lovely accommodation, we were taken aback. The property owner was lovely, pleasant and friendly, he really took the time to show us where everything was. We will most definitely be staying here again in the future."

"No one took care of our check in. We waited for the staff to come for an hour in the rain but still no one showed up. Finally he guided on the phone to get in the apartment. This is ridiculous! The kitchenwares were all very dirty which couldn't be used if we didn't wash it ourselves. But there was no detergent provided. The washing machine and the toaster were very so dirty that we didn't try to use them. However the cleaning charge of £50 was still charged! We asked the staff to come twice...

One thing though you can only hang up your clothes no other storage or drawers. No phone to call reception you have to use your mobile to call. I would definitely go there again. Beautiful hotel & modern. Breakfast buffet really nice and large selection. Continental, English, pastries different types of bread, cereals, yoghurt & fruits."

I like to keep it short and sweet.

"The staff at the Clarendon are the pinnacle of hospitality. The hotel itself screams historic London, and it's location is ideal for anyone looking for a quaint, yet convenient London experience in beautiful Blackheath Village just outside the core. Myself and my girlfriend, both seasoned globe trotters, agree the included breakfast is the best we have EVER had so every stay you get your moneys worth. Highly recommend and I never take the time to write reviews, but in this case I had to. "
