The staff at the front desk is very welcoming and accomdating! The grounds are well kept and quite private off the road. The room, while dated, is very clean, easily accessible and very spacious! Beds and pillows are comfortable and the layout of the room is great to stay comfortably for a few days. The only reason I didn’t rate this higher, especially for the price, was the hot tub. We were there in the fall and there were a lot of pine needles in the hot tub and it didn’t seem like anyone was cleaning them out.

Thank you, Natasha, for your feedback. Especially in regard to the rooms and grounds. The hot tub, in addition to having a built in filtration system, is cleaned twice a day, minimum, by our facilities Manager who comes in (even on his days off) to address any fall debris. It is, admittedly, a bit of a battle during the fall, to keep the pine needles at bay around the property as we are located off the highway and set back in a heavily forested area. We regret to hear that you experienced anything less than a 5 star stay but I can assure you, less than having a full time attendant monitoring fall tree debris, we do our very best to keep the property (and hot tub) as clear as possible.

I liked the property fine for the price, but was very frustrated trying to sleep because the room was cold (October night) and the heater fan kept kicking on an off very suddenly and LOUDLY. Room did not stay warm, and fan would not just stay on or off. I really got hardly any sleep.

Hi Deborah. I am so sorry to hear that you had a chilly night. Did you happen to reach out to our front desk for assistance? Our units have a couple of different settings. Heat, Cool and then Eco Mode. It sounds like yours was set to Eco Mode, which means the unit turns off when it has reached its desired temperature and then on again when it cools down. Heat mode keeps the room set to your desired temperature. Again, we apologize for the confusion. Please feel free to reach out to our team if you are back in the area. We are always happy to help.

The staff are excellent and kind, recommending dining options and activities that were clearly heartfelt, the hot tub was nice, and was great to unwind. Given that it is right under a lodgepole pine, it was very clean and still had a nice view of the night sky. We arrived right around check-in time, and the original room that we reserved was not quite ready, so they upgraded us to a room with a little more space and better view, they also offered us the option to wait for the original room if we wished.
This place is right off of the road, BUT it is up a steep hill set back in the trees and was very quiet and peaceful. It is also a very short walk to just about anything you might need, just be careful crossing the highway, the speed limit is only 35, but be careful. It is also a short stroll to Wayfarer's State Park.
We were in town for bowling and Grizzly Lanes is less than a 10 minute drive away. It's also only about 20 minutes to the Alpine Coaster on the other side of Flathead Lake (in Lakeside).
The price was reasonable and though the facility is older, it is well maintained and kept VERY clean. Great place for a family or solo traveler,.

This was my 4th time at Timbers Morel and I can't say good enough things about this place. Super easily accessible, close to everything we needed, amazing pool and hot tub, beautiful views all around. Certainly not my last time visiting here! Highly recommend it!
