"Great spot. Plenty of Parking’s Helpful staff with great location. Also walking trail behind the hotel and coffee skateshoo and donuts and the zoo up the street. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean. Wish we could bring our dog. A big game room too if you like that kind of thing. "

"The property is definitely a newer facility that is well maintained. The breakfast in the morning can get busy but there are plenty of options to choose from. it is very accommodating for pets. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking. Overall, it was a great family experience and definitely somewhere we would stay again in a future trip to Big Bear. "

"We liked it. First time to Big Bear and we already want to go back. The room was a simple two queen bed room, but meet our needs for just a one night stay. We used the basketball court and would've used the hot tub if we had more time. My kids commented that the pool and hot tub looked clean. We also liked how the property was in walking distance to The Village, where we enjoyed a waffle cone and browsing the shops. "

"What an incredible experience, from becoming to end! Great pricing, clear, kind and knowledgeable communication. Every question I had was answered swiftly and with care. Joseph's Hut was charming (in the best way) clean comfortable and private. I got a great rec to eat at Captain's Anchorage, the service and food there was excellent as well. The natural setting was peaceful and calm, just what we needed to escape the craziness of the world at the moment. We only stayed one night but can't wait to go back. Thank you so much for an amazing getaway!"

"This hotel is our new favorite spot! It's the low key vibes of adult summer camp, but with all the style and comfort of a NYC four-star hotel! Beautiful, photogenic rooms; sensitive eye for detail in all the decor; and fun nooks and finds around the property, from tether ball, to pickle ball, to a pool, to hanging hammocks, and a beautiful mini hike. I'd recommend this to any couple, single, or family looking for a retreat in the forest that offers that perfect balance between city comfort, and outdoorsy fun. Impressed enough to write my first review on here!"
