Would not recommend anybody to stay here. Booked a reservation for 4 people well in advance. The hotel reached out to me a couple of hours before my travel to tell me they cannot accommodate my booking (even though it was confirmed). I disputed that because if I went on Expedia during the conversation, I was able to book another room because it showed as they had more available rooms. They also stated that they were out of the office and the person who were taking bookings on site did not update the calendar and asked me to cancel my reservation. I pushed back and told them THEY need to cancel the reservation, I’m not canceling anything!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO BOOK HERE BECAUSE THEY MAY LEAVE YOH STRANDED IN A COUNTRY YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH LAST MINUTE!

My husband &I stayed here for 16 days( 3 unplanned). This resort is a gem off the beaten path. If you want to totally disconnect from a busy lifestyle , this is the place to be!! The location of this wonderful place is in a dead zone, so availability of both Wi-Fi and hot-spots are spontaneously brief. The staff ( Miss Nicole & Miss ) were amazing at the front desk. The cleaning ladies ( Miss Flora and others)were wonderful in ensuring that your room is cleaned daily( please ask for fresh linens and or towels). We were unaware that breakfast was available until the second day and we didn’t miss a breakfast for 7 days straight. The staff “ up the hill” were amazing; both Miss Michelle and the cook Miss Jacklyn took great care of my husband and I. Miss Michelle brought us fresh coconut water each morning when she told us of the availability. We had fresh fruits, great cornmeal porridge ( as well as other local porridges) . And for dinner, each night we ate of the fresh fish, local ground provisions, as well as other beautiful dishes. We also walked the grounds and sat under the orange gazebo and just listened to the distant sound of the waves that we saw from our room. Mr. Frankie the grounds man, made sure we had sturdy chairs to sit on outside. Mr.&. Mrs. Brown took great care of us & made sure we tasted the best food options available. When our plane was delayed for three days, they also ensured that we had a place to stay. My family & I will be returning soon!!

Posted 23 Jul 2023 on HotelsGreat atmosphere the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The is no phone reception at the hotel and the wifi didn’t always work. There was a power cut during my stay but there was no backup generator which would be helpful to them. The back stair were a bit dangerous as there were large metal spikes sticking out of the ground/stairs outside but nothing to troubling. There’s a trail at the hotel if you wish to walk to grounds outside and the coast line very close by. I never went in the pool so I can’t comment on this. All the food was served fresh including the coconut water which is straight from the coconut itself. Great ocean view but they don’t notify guests when they’re having events so there’s no time to prepare to go out or be anywhere while there’s a party taking place. Transport from the hotel is great as local buses s as re just at the end of the resort. Air con system is great but mostly the silence is amazing when it’s quiet you really get the hear the nature of the place highly recommend. Overall 8/10 great scenery and beautiful horizon didn’t want to leave.

when arriving at the hotel, the staff was not expecting any guests. No reservations were found. The resort is under construction and no restaurants open. This hotel does not have any restaurants within walking distance. Pool was under construction and no shuttle to airport. We had to book at another hotel. Finding a taxi was an adventure in its self. Staff tried to help as much as possible. The property didn't have any guest at all. Will be a nice property once construction is complete.

Excellent place,great staff,well looked after.
Booked on hotels.com but on arrival my booking was not found so had to book again with the hotel. Also on hotel.com it said free breakfast but its not.
All in all,i still would stay again and looking forward to it
