Caution Igloo of Enlightenment Unresponsive
Posted 28 Feb 2022 on HotelsI did not stay at Igloo of Enlightenment because the host did not meet me per the booking instructions, also the host did not return my calls or provide alternate check-in instructions. Additionally, all hotels in the town were fully booked for the week and an alternative lodging was unavailable. As a result, I cancelled my Business trip and return home the same day cutting a three day trip to one day.

I do not know what to say regarding the guest not being able to reach us. We had another guest, not an Expedia booking, who reached us and had no communication problems. I do know our cellular service can be problematic.
I am sorry you had such a bad experience on your trip to Bethel. I do not believe we have received any money from Expedia group. I see this was an Expedia collect so your card was billed and we then are provided a virtual card to collect our fee minus their commission.
Have you requested a refund from hotels.com? If you’ve not done so please request refund and we’ll get notified and I’ll approve the refund.

Hosts go above & beyond

Excellent stay in Bethel
