"Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "Absolute joke. Was told via email that they couldn’t accommodate us, so they booked us in to a chalet 5 miles away. The owners of the chalet were not expecting us, didn’t speak any English. Showed us our room, very basic, no heating, had to ask for glasses for a drink. Had a very long cold night. Will be contacting Expedia for a refund and compensation, got a long day today with not a lot of sleep. The worst night away of my life."
