We stayed in the Annex building and had multiple issues with our key card being disconnected and then the place to insert the key broke for the main entrance and we had to wait until maintenance came! Not something I’d expect from a 5 star hotel. Staff not warm at all!

The hotel condition is old, the rooms are in poor condition and it hasn't been updated for years already. I have been staying at this hotel for the past 10 years when I visit Istanbul, I won't be anymore unless they refurbish the rooms.
