Great for a single night business stay, quiet, clean, warm.
Bathroom very small, and the bathroom door didn’t close but would definitely stay again.

I had a lovely stay at The Castle Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. I especially enjoyed the cozy bar – a perfect spot to unwind in the evening. Friendly staff and a charming atmosphere made it a great experience overall!

Great for exploring the area 2 minute walk to train station and bus stop. Continental breakfast was very convenient and made getting an early start easy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

While working nights in the area, I was arriving at the Castle Hotel each morning around 0645. Fiona and Milly had breakfast ready for me and always asked if I required anything for my rest period. Food was first class and the personal attention afforded to the guests at breakfast is outstanding. Well done Fiona and Milly. Highly recommended.

The property was clean and tidy . After the first day the room had not been attended to . No clean towels , shower gel and shampoo . When making the reception aware she said normally you inform them when this is needed . The following day i informed the maid what was required and it was carried out . She politely appologised .
