main problem with this property is a waste facility with trucks circle around 6am and unsafe area with addicts near by

Great location terrible service
Posted 24 Jul 2018The place is clean and well kept. Bed fairly comfortable, kitchen useful and bathroom fine. Location is great, quiet part of berlin which is hard to find. Important to know if you're travelling alone all the exterior walls are see through glass and the main door is glass which was fine for us. The main issues were with service. I was never instructed how to enter the apartment/hotel and so had to make several international calls over several hours in order to figure out how to even enter. Despite this and wifi issues Which I emailed to the company direct and Expedia I was never contacted. I sent several emails and never got a response. Made several calls never returned. Very disappointed. I was never checked in on. Place is good overall but I found the service to be terrible.

Could not get access!
Posted 26 May 2018 on HotelsFirstly, no body bothered to tell us that we had to find the key safe, nor gave us the pin number to access it. So we turned up and after 15 mins luckily someone told us that there was a key safe and opened it up to reveal our keys in an envelope with my name on it. I had phoned the number on my hotels.com paperwork but it just rang and wasn't answered.
So that is why I have given a poor service score. After a 5 hour journey it was not the best start to our stay in Berlin. Other than that the apartment was clean and reasonably comfortable. No instructions for the Amazon prime TV so it was try and figure it out for yourself.
Local area has a recycling centre next door, a bit noisy but that was all.
Watch out for dog dirt on the pavements. No the owners fault.
Local area has great transport connections to all of Berlin via S-Bahn. Gesundbrunnen has shops and Aldi and Lidl are both a short walk. Berlin Wall (Mauer) used to run close by so a pleasant walk along the Mauerweg across the railway bridge, takes you to a park which has a brilliant flea market on Sundays. Local restaurants are mostly Vegan so we struggled to get something with meat. I would use again but the owners or Hotels.com need to up there game regarding the access arrangements.

Pros: Its big and it had entertainment like netflix.
Cons: I could not contact the hotel to get my room key so i had to contact the hotel through expedia.
Location: it is located very close to 2 two train stations and two tram stations as well as a number of bus stations.
The apartment is big with high ceilings, a decent kitchen that was had utensils and the apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable however I found the pillows in my apartment to be quite lumpy. The TV had netflix and amazon prime so i was happy staying in doors when it rained.

Lovely apartment close to local shops & transport

Location: The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to an underground and overground station. Very close to a Supermarket and also a shopping Centre.
The bedroom is quite small however having a big lounge makes up for that. The bathroom is lovely and spacious and the neighbours are very quiet and respectful.There's a great place for breakfast on the weekends right opposite and a great pub just down the road from there.
