Hotel i31 is well located near the U-Bahn and tram stops. The breakfast was fabulous. Safe area. We slept with the window open on the 5. floor and it was extremely quiet overlooking the courtyard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a lounge area where one can play board or card games. And get a drink. Although we never hung out in the courtyard, it was very inviting. We are our breakfast 2 out of three days on the patio. I will stay here again. Two thumbs up.

Excellent location, somewhat noisy

If you’re sensitive to noise make sure to get a room not facing the street. The insulation was so so and traffic (including trams) could be heard all night. Location is fantastic, impeccably clean.

Stylish, well-appointed boutique hotel in the heart of Mitte, close to the main train station and numerous public transport options. Many great restaurants, bars and coffee places in the area, and don't miss the Berlin Wall Memorial a block away. Very solid breakfast, but parking is limited.

The hotel is in a great location with u-bahn, s-bahn and tram all within a 5 minute walk away. Staff were very nice and accommodating. My mattress could've been firmer and because my room was at the front of the property, the noise from the street was quite loud. The small workout room could do with an equipment refresh.

Breakfast was very good with a good selection. Also, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast area is very pleasant and relaxing with seats inside and also outdoors in the well presented garden area. The rooms are clean, showers are nice with good water pressure, beds are nice and firm and the window opens to allow some fresh air. Also there is a cute little bar next to reception which is nice before or after dinner.

Brilliant stay, we booked a garden room, very quiet, loved the large bathroom great breakfast with plenty of choice, near various transport links too.

Good Choice, almost a 5 Star Review.. if...

Positive points: very very modern and cozy hotel, very comfortable, clean, elegant, room size are big enough, the service just amazing, and the location is absolutely perfect. Negative points: The Hotel needs to improve the existing mattresses, as the one in our room was quite uncomfortable and we couldn't sleep the entire night. Finally, please do invest in some quality toilet paper. We were not sure if the one we have used was a toilet paper or sandpaper. Other than these 2 negative points, I would give it a 5-star review in all options.

We are quiet surprised about your critic regarding our toilet paper since we never received such a comment before. IWe strive wherever possible to use sustainable and environmentally friendly products. For example our toilet paper is made of 100% recycled paper and our cosmetics "stop the water while using me" are 100% natural plant-based.
