The main problem with this hotel was the BREAKFAST situation. The hotel has a restaurant with breakfast buffet but is almost $50/USD for those staying at the hotel. For some odd reason when you go to the restaurant they “interrogate” you asking if you are a staying at the hotel BEFORE even letting you sit down at a table. I choose to order something off the menu for breakfast to try and limit the cost but the selection was nonexistent and you couldn’t even order a single cup of coffee as it apparently only comes by the pot. I ended up walking out to go out for breakfast at Einstein Cafe 3 minute walk from Brandengurg Gate the cost was around $15 USD for amazing breakfast with cappuccino!! AVOID this hotel restaurant unless you want to get taken advantage of for pricing. Also tipping is not MANDATORY in Germany or throughout Europe at the hotel restaurant they automatically include a rich tip when billing out. Just another reason to AVOID the hotel restaurant!!

In addition to the buffet, we also offer an à la carte breakfast for guests who prefer a more customized option.For a lighter breakfast and a coffee, our hotel lobby could have been a good alternative as well. The best thing about this hotel is its wonderful central location. Close to everything, including great public transportation options! It’s on the bus line, steps away from the Potsdamer Plaza Bahnhof (trains) and well-served by taxis and Ubers! Wonderful property!

Really liked the location (walk to Brandenburg Gate, couple minutes to train station for U Bahn, S Bahn and main train lines), walkable to to main tourist sites as well. Rooms were clean, comfortable (good air conditioning) and quiet though the design of the bathroom was not ideal to get in and out of shower or bath, but we managed okay and the shower and bath had plenty hot water etc. Staff all professional and friendly and breakfast (which for us was included) was very good. Main criticism would be the dining options as the restaurant was very very expensive and the only other alternative was a hot dog type place which did not appeal. They should have a more middle range option. Also limited tea/coffee in room and no milk - we bought some from the little cafe opposite the entrance - there is a small fridge in our room. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again.

Found nasty spots on our blanket. It was pretty awful experience and couldn’t sleep the first night as they only brought a new blanket and didn’t change the sheets. Also the front desk didn’t make any apologies.
