Nice but the owner isn't
Posted 18 Jan 2021 on HotelsWould be a simple but good place to stay. However, the owner is very unfriendly, complicated and grim. He absolutely does not care about his guests.
The restaurant downstairs, which also serves breakfast, is very nice however. Good food and a very nice and funny owner.

Fine (you get what you pay for in St Moritz)
Posted 28 Jul 2020 on HotelsFor the money in St Moritz centre you can’t really complain - staff perfectly nice, breakfast perfectly adequate and I might even stay there again if I ever just needed to get my head down with no frills. It’s just very, very worn and dark and bedding is clean but worn and unattractive fabric etc. Bit of an odd set up where sharing a bathroom means a couple sinks per 2 rooms in a semi-private open area right outside both room doors. Shower and toilet in separate cubicles immediately off that area. Which means you can’t actually even brush your teeth or wash your face without potentially being interrupted by someone. I don't mind shared bathrooms but you can usually close the door on yourself for privacy. And No soundproofing at all so very loud if anyone moves around and uses shared facilities in the night. You get what you pay for in some respects but I mean seriously it costs nothing these days for someone to get down to IKEA and get some basic sheets so....hard to give a completely glowing report, especially when even youth hostels have gotten their act together on the basics these days.

Good evening
You booked a single room with shared bathroom , and we upgraded you to a double room with private bath room , we don't quite understand why you said , you were shareing bathroom with other guests? And for the shared bathroom, we have also 2 separated rooms, one is with out shower , wash basin, toilet, one is with toilet and wash basin, guests can always close two doors .

Marginal stay at best
Posted 22 Jul 2019 on HotelsThe hotel is located down a very steep hill from the train station but walkable. The weather was hot so we needed to open our 2 adjoining rooms windows, which had no screens. There was a large wasp nest outside the window frame and the hotel staff didn't want to disrupt the wasps, as the "flowers needed the bees," we were told by the hotel front office staff. The hotel knew 5 months in advance that we had a party of 4 in our family but we were provided only 3 single beds.

Thank you for your stay in our hotel and spent time to give some feedback .
According to our experiences in Switzerland, normally the bees will not attack people. But if you disrupt them , then they become very agrresive and dangerous.
The room you booked is a family suit with 2 sleeping rooms , they are connected with a door, there is one double room for 2 adults, and one room with one bed (125 CM wide ) for 2 small children. It is writtenon the booking platform and there are also pictures for the rooms.
We thought you wanted such rooms, otherwise, you should book 2 double/ twin bed rooms.
Sorry, we did not know your need, next time, we will ask you what is your real need before you arrive.
