Our stay at Opus XVI was delightful! The hotel exudes a warm and welcoming vibe, perfectly located for easy walks to shopping centers, supermarkets, pharmacies, and all the essentials we need. The breakfast was scrumptious and served as a wonderful start to our day. The bathroom amenities were top-notch as well, adding an extra layer of comfort to our experience. I’d like to extend a special thanks to the front desk staff, especially the incredible Martha, who provided us with outstanding assistance and was incredibly kind throughout our visit. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would eagerly return on our next trip to Bergen!

Convenient location near harbour, walk to sites shopping and dining. Impeccable cleanliness and service.

Wonderful, old bank bldg. perfectly fitted to be a classic hotel. Very helpful staff. Many suggestions when asked. Lobby bartender is always ready to set you up with a great evening drink. Twice a day attention to your room. Close to everything you want to see in Bergen. Close walking to many of the city's various evening restaurants.

There was an issue at check-in; I asked for a quiet room and was told mine was above the bar, which might be noisy. But they were reluctant to move me because it would require a downgrade which they couldn't do (for some system-related reason). I had to stress that size of room was not important compared with noise level and I had to go as far as threatening to just leave and go to a different hotel. (I hate to behave like that but I was afraid of being stuck in a noisy room). Finally when someone else interceded I got my "downgrade" to a quieter room, not above the bar. Also of note - the restaurant may be appealing to some but it is a very limited menu!!!
