Poor customer service and horrible hotel.
Posted 12 Aug 2024 on HotelsThe person checking me in was very rude and unpleasant. I may have interrupted his lunch and he seemed like he did not want to be there. The hotel doesn’t have AC and just a lousy table fan in the room and one pillow. Felt like I was sleeping in a hostel not a 4 star hotel. Just overall disappointing. I woke up and drove back to Munich the next day.

This is a getaway for locals alike, which is all you need to know. My family has frequented this hotel for decades and while visiting from the US, I picked this for a quick getaway with my husband. We enjoyed fantastic wellness facilities, including a sauna, followed by a dip in the pool, relaxing by the lake and a swim in the lake. Imagine a pristine lake, surrounded by the Alps and random sailboats in the water as your view. What more do you need? Let me add, it was peaceful. All I heard were waves outside my balcony. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious with lake view, of course. Staff was kind and helpful. Book here, you won’t be disappointed.
