"An entirely satisfactory hotel. Very polite and professional staff. A little difficult to find the entrance the first time, as it is not directly on the boulevard. My only criticism is that the room was quite small. Given that I was in Munich for a conference, this was acceptable as I did not spend any time in my room. But if I was in town for tourism or without a very busy schedule it would have felt constricting."

"The only issue when you arrive there the door on street level is locked and code or key actuated. You have to up a massive set of stairs to get to the lobby. Then when you get there they ask why you didn’t use the elevator on street level. After you say it’s locked they say why didn’t you just press ok button twice to call the desk. Well there is no sign that says that or way of knowing that. That needs fixing. Because struggling to luggage up them stairs was horrible"

"The Torbrau is a high class hotel without the high class prices. Perfectly located in a popular thoroughfare, not too far from Marienplatz and close to the Viktalianmarkt.
