"Great room, clean and a reasonable size for the price. Was lovely having the pool and gym free to use downstairs too! Also really convenient to get to the university metro station, just a 5 minute walk away. Just note, the hotel does not use key cards and instead emails you a code at 3pm to check in, so you won’t be able to check in early as it is an automated email!"

"Great location, 20 minutes from Old Town, 10 minutes from Universitate metro, but on a busy road so you may want to keep the windows shut. Fortunately there is efficient air conditioning (controlled by a remote). Clean, comfortable, with a small kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave, kettle). I kept the blinds closed against the heat and the workmen outside, and then found the lighting a little dim. Brighter bulbs and/or a bedside light would be welcome."

"Very nice apartment, easy to reach by metro and Tram. Tram stop only a 2 minute walk from apartment. Was given very clear instructions by host on how to check in. It was good that check in was at 2pm and check out not until 12pm so had a bit of time to relax. Apartment kitchen was fully equiped with microwave and kitchen."

I was told I cld but again no check in details were given. There was no key safe or a reception to pick up a key. In the end I had to book somewhere else. "

"What can I say?? This apartment is AMAZING!! I actually am reluctant to give it such a great review as I want to keep it to myself! Gabriel is a incredibly thoughtful host and the apartment is so beautiful, great view, close to amenities and not far to the central town by taxi. Underground parking is extra but worth it and also a cleaning fee is paid for but totally worth it as the property is spotless. "

"We had some initial issues with Expedia putting this apartment in Old Town when it is not, luckily we managed to upgrade on the way there to one that is. Unfortunately by coincidence our upgrade then suffered a burst pipe so George upgraded us again to the property next door! Both apartments were lovely regardless! Thank you George for all your help, you were invaluable. "

"Really nice place. Communication could have been better for check in Place was nice and clean and modern and once open comms was pleasant to deal with There is no pool and it’s a local pool that you have to pay for, not onsite nor part of the rental so slightly misleading "

"The area is great, within walking distance from Old Town. The apartament is rather spacious, and nicely furnished. The floors are very creaky and you can hear every noise from the street. We did not get much sleep. Furthermore, the drain in the bathroom overflowed into the living area after my daughter tried to take a shower, and we had to scramble to clean it up with towels. "Amazing little apartment, not too far a walk from main city. Easy to get to. We loved the washing machine as my partner and I had been travelling from the start of the month and by the end of the month had worked up a lot of washing so high praise for the washing machine alone! "In theory this could have been a bad review. The restaurant and spa were closed for renovation, the lack of soundproofing in the interconnecting rooms meant our noisy neighbours kept us awake at 5am, and we were promised a room with a bath but didn’t get one. However the way the brilliant staff responded to every problem or request, the beautiful rooms and the really helpful concierge made a big difference and left us with such a positive view of the hotel still. The duty manager Andreea was especially helpful even helping us arrange a car back from the National Arena late at night. Would definitely return and trust that the issues we had were one offs. "

"Grand hotel with impressive common spaces and a superb bar in the original vault (make sure you get a reservation even for cocktails) Rooms were decent size and well appointed. Breakfast excellent Only point of warning is the spa (which is very nice) is quite small and therefore difficult to use at busy times. Maybe try a different hotel if this is your main requirement as you could be disappointed Hotel is well located close to the old town and also near shopping areas and most of the tourist sites "
