Worst check-in experience

cons :
• this was by far my worst experience in Japan during my one month stay. When I booked (one day before my planned check-in), the manager demanded to know at what time I was planning to check in. I was surprised but happily obliged and gave him/her the precise time (4 pm). The check-in happens in another place (15 min away by foot) which is a guesthouse. I went there by 4 pm and found no one (even though it is mentioned everywhere that check-in time is between 4 pm and 8 pm). Then I tried to contact many times the manager by email and using the form on hotels.com website but no reply until 4 HOURS LATER when I finally got to reach him/her and do my check-in.
• a lot of noise coming from the street because of no isolation whatsoever on the windows
• a lot of light pours in so don't expect to sleep late

There was no reply from you.
Even if we suddenly say "I am here" on the day, we cannot immediately respond.
In the first place we left the emergency contact and went out. * Because other jobs overlap.
There are various check-in systems in places like "minpaku" that are not hotels like this.
All of our net pages have this kind of description.
Anyway, we're very sorry for this result.

A spacious apartment unlike the tiny Jap home
Posted 16 Nov 2019 on HotelsA fully equip apartment with a lot of space, not your typical Japanese apartment. We were very comfortable in our 4 nights of stay. Downside, no lift have to carry our luggages 4 floors up. Else a wonderful stay.

温泉街にあり、飲食店や観光名所も近く利便性が良かったです。夜も静かでゆっくり身体休める事も出来ました。また機会があれば利用したいです。

便利な立地、広くて快適
Posted 15 Dec 2023 on Hotels部屋は広く、過ごしやすかった。
お風呂が狭いですが、周辺に温泉があるので問題なし。
洗濯スペースがあるので、長期滞在に便利。
ただ部屋が寒い。
喫煙がベランダで狭い(あまり不便ではなかったですが)。
自分のマンションにいるように滞在できます。

大分プチ旅行で利用しました

建物の１階に居酒屋があり、宿泊は3階と4階とありました。
屋上もあり、ライトアップされていますが景色はビルやマンションです。
ちょっとした韓国っぽさが良かったです。
無人チェックインですが、用紙記入だけなのでとても簡単でした。
共用の洗濯乾燥機もあり、洗濯用具にネットもあり便利です。
竹瓦温泉の回数券ももらい利用させてもらいましたが、温泉は良いですがシャワーがないので不便と思う方もいるかもしれないですが良い温泉でした。
近場には飲み屋街やアーケードもあり、出張などのビジネス向けには良いのかなと。
ご飯も郷土料理目的でお店に行きましたが、予約いっぱいで断られたり、子供お断りのところもあるので1時間はぐるぐる歩いて探しました。
コンビニも近くにあり、たこ焼き屋などお店はたくさんありました。
部屋にはケトル、冷蔵庫、IH、電子レンジ、掃除機など家電もあり便利でした。
ちょっとしたプチ旅行などおすすめです
駐車場がないので竹瓦温泉の向かい側に停めましたが、1日で1,300円でした。
他にも駐車場はあるので最大600円もあったので探されると良いかと思います。
喫煙もベランダ、屋上で出来るので喫煙者には良いです。
