Bad customer service

Location is good but worst customer service. there are cats running in dining area which they don't like to move it out. lazy customer service. soaps were not placed in our room. they took 30 min to get a small soap bar.

Overpriced Stay - not worth it

Would not recommend anyone to stay at this property. This is at one end of the Bentota beach and the walk on the beach to the other properties is long. Moreover, there are hardly any lights on the property visible from the beach. The room we were given had a smell as if the room had not been used for a very long time, the ac made a noise the entire night not letting us sleep, there were just two dim lights in the room. The service was also very poor - we ordered drinks at the bar and the bartender was very eager to close our bill. He kept repeating this every few minutes. The restaurant took more than an hour to serve us a la carte dinner. Overall, this was an overpriced property not at all worth it.

Close it, fix it and reopen. The management should not run a hotel this poorly. As you enter the fish tanks smells, the steps broken and rooms are terrible, shame it's a nice location

Nice beach and resort

To reach the hotel you have to ride boat from main land to club bentota cause the reception next to the river its between the river and the sea .. The resort have tennis and many games its very big resort and awsome .. Value for money.. But i did not like the animals there many dogs and monica also squrriel .. I hate the gecko there are a lot of them .. Actually they should kill them very digusting and disturbing

First the plus point-Resort enjoys a great location located as it is on a strip of land with the ocean on one side and a lagoon on the other-access is by boat! Now for the negatives-perhaps the resort owners expect guests to spend minimal time in the rooms-as there is no wifi in the guest rooms, room service is extremely slow(and they slap on a service charge to add insult to injury!) and tv options are very limited. Break buffet spread is nothing great and food options for vegetarians is very,very limited. Rooms are rather basic but comfortable and the bathroom is small,

Not worth the money

We booked this hotel for out final two days in Sri Lanka as a treat , Great location , we were upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe room but when we walked in the room was extremely disappointed it was small cramped and smelt of damp , after mentioning it numerous times they decide to change the room to a small chalet with twin beds, atleast it did not smell so if you are offered room 209 do not take it , only ate in the location once in the sea food restaurant but portions were small for the price. There is a buffet restaurant but have been told that the food is nothing special ,The hotel seems to Cater for the Chinese tourists who come for short trips to the restort

Good and average !!

The property is a huge and lavishly situated on a small strip of land facing sea and back waters. Enjoyed water sports and other recreations within the resort. Food was very mediocre. Comfort of the rooms were also very average for the price.
