Not what I expected

It was an older building that obviously has leaking and musty mildewing issues due to incense being burned, fans or dehumidifiers being used along with water stains on ceiling tiles.

Office cluttered and messy, hallway smelled, room was clean but old and rundown. Hotel appearance bordered on decrepit. Definitely will not stay in another Rodeway.

Not exactly choice

No breakfast, no coffee machine, I am not sure if we knew that going in. Wafflehouse across the parking lot saved the day. Olive Garden also in walking distance. Same desk clerk the entire 3 days we stayed (already paid for before we got there and places were sold out for eclipse viewing) He gave us a room on the side of the hotel we requested and later helped straighten me out as I was trying to enter the wrong room. Linens and room seemed clean, but the place was generally run down. The Direct TV control box was located down behind a credenza which blocked the remote signals, so you had to stand next to the credenza and aim the remote down behind it to change channels.
