Kristen, sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. We added additional insulation in the walls to help reduce any noise, but they are not soundproof. They are set up pretty like a hotel with shared walls. The lodge is one of our most economical options and is much cheaper and nicer than most hotels in the area. We do have private cabins without shared walls at a little higher price point if you prefer not to have neighbors. When we renovated the lodge about three years ago the showers that we installed in there were the only ones we could get into the rooms. They are somewhat small, but typically we don't get any complaints there. We are getting ready to install new shower wands in them next week and will install the shower heads to where they don't spray towards the shower curtain. Sometimes, when people don't close the shower curtain it does get water on the floor. I'm not aware of any issues with the flooring there and have not had any complaints but will be sure to check that out and correct any issues we find. Our cabins are thoroughly cleaned after every rental. Maybe our cleaning staff could have missed a cobweb, and it is possible I could have missed it when I inspected it. My apologies. We get lots of great reviews about how clean the cabins are. If you were to park directly in front of the cabin you would be on the grass in the front yard of the cabin next to the fire pit. There is a sizeable parking lot adjacent to the cabin that has room for 10 or more cars. We've never had a time where there were not enough parking spaces for guests. I sincerely apologize that you were not happy with your stay. We get lots of great reviews from other guests that really enjoy the lodge. On the room you rented I currently have a total of ten reviews on Expedia. Except for yours, the rest of the reviews are all 10 stars.
