Louise, glad you liked the lodge. I appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. Thanks for your feedback. It was definitely the coldest time of the year when you stayed with us. When the heater is turned up to the highest setting we've not had any issues with it being plenty warm in the room for other guests. Sorry if it was not as warm as you would have liked. We do keep additional heaters available for extreme cold weather and would have been happy to bring you one. I would have gladly offered you one, but typically we don't have an issue with that in the lodge. Also, the lodge is set up like a hotel room and has a kitchenette, but as you mentioned there is not a full kitchen with an oven or stove. The lodge is one of our most economical options. We do have other private cabins available with a full kitchen if you are interested in that for next time. We'd love to have you back in the future. If so, please give me a call and I'll gladly bring additional heaters as I want to ensure you are warm and enjoy your stay with us. Thanks again! We hope to see you again in the future.
