Just don't, even if you are on a tight budget
Posted 26 Feb 2019 on HotelsThe stay here has to be one of my most "unexpected" experience as a business traveler.
1. No kettle and drinking cups/glasses were provided. I need to walk up to the restaurant on the 5th floor to ask for hot water, and even that I had to wait for the kitchen staff there to boil the water in a saucepan first before I could get any.
2. No room slippers provided. I had to fork out Rs300 to buy a pair of slippers.
3. Bathroom amenities almost non-existent Good thing I brought most of what I required.
4. Bedding were stained, only the bed sheets looked clean.
5. Blackouts happens all the time. And once power is restored, it'll take ages for the cable TV and WiFi to be restored (several times I went to bed early as I couldn't get any TV and WiFi access).
6. Don't even think of shopping around the local surrounding areas. Only rundown sundry shops and a so-called pharmacy awaits you. And be prepared to walk on muddy and dusty paths.
6. No ironing facilities. Business travelers beware.
I could go on typing but I'll probably end up with carpet tunnel syndrome.

Average facilities, can do much better
Posted 23 Jul 2014The room was clean and the staff friendly, but there was not much in terms of facilities. One of the lamps next to the bed was not working, the soap was servicable at best, but the towel was dirty and torn. Breakfast was good, but I was expecting more options.
