Horrible smell of cigarettes in the room all the time. Gym is terrible. Staff and food is fantastic.

The hotel asked me to checkout before the mentioned checkout time mentioning they have big group reservations. It’s overpriced for the facilities they provide.

Posted 22 Oct 2022 on HotelsI’m only a few days into a 10-day stay and I’m very happy with the SFO Hotel. I arrived late and the staff were ready for me. I got into a Club Room right away.
The room is very spacious. Their photos tell the truth. The bed is comfortable. The room is setup to work from the hotel. The internet is good. There is a small fridge to keep beverages. Most of all, the bathroom is better than most American hotels I’ve stayed in.
The location of the hotel is good, too. There is lots nearby including the hotel’s own Cable Car restaurant. The restaurant has a good menu of diverse food and a buffet upstairs. Walking down the main street there is good shopping and more restaurants.
So far I am totally enjoying my stay!
